Recent heavy rainfall has resulted in higher water levels for the Four Lakes, with water expected to continue to rise through the day. Residents in the area of Radov Drive directly below Smallwood Dam were notified overnight about rising water levels. Property owners are asked to keep a close eye on their property and take action if necessary to safeguard themselves and their property. In addition, workers moved equipment and raised the temporary bridge at Sanford Dam because of high water. Sanford Village Park is also experiencing high water levels.
FLTF will continue monitoring rainfall and water levels, and will inform the community if any action is needed. Midland County Emergency Management Coordinator Jenifier Boyer and Gladwin County Emergency Manager Bob North are also monitoring the situation along with FLTF. Comments are closed.
