Who We Are

Four Lakes Task Force works on behalf of Gladwin and Midland counties in accordance with Part 307 Inland Lake Level of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451.

Board of Directors

In collaboration with Midland and Gladwin counties, a group of volunteers came together to form FLTF. The current volunteer board of directors is made of nominated representatives from each lake association and two commissioners, one from Gladwin and Midland counties. The lake associations will nominate and approve future members. Lake association members serve up to two, 3-year terms. County commissioners serve at the county's desire.​

EH&S Purpose:
  • Review environmental, health and safety policies, practices and requirements related to the operations of Four Lakes Task Force (FLTF), and provide advice to ensure FLTF meets industry standards, the requirements for regulatory compliance, and future regulatory and/or standard changes in dam operations.
EH&S Responsibilities
  • Advice FLTF Management on improvements to policies, processes, and practices.
  • Facilitate connections to external resources
  • Provide comments, recommendations, or consent to FLTF Management, and for FLTF Board approval on EH&S policies, as appropriate.
  • Advise the FLTF Board on external EH&S matters, including changes in regulatory requirements.
