Circuit Court Judge Stephen Carras Supports Special Assessment District and Approves Legal Lake Levels

5/3/2019

On Friday, May 3, 2019, Circuit Court Judge Stephen Carras heard testimony related to establishing the legal lake level for Sanford, Wixom, Secord and Smallwood lakes, and for establishing boundaries for the special assessment district (SAD) for the four lakes. The judge did rule to establish the legal lake levels and supported the establishment of Special Assessment boundaries pending the review of two parcels. We expect the final order to be signed in the coming days. We will provide updates as they become available.
