The Tittabawassee River is back on course through the Sanford Dam, thanks to work recently completed by Fisher Contracting to construct a berm across the breach channel. This restored 100% of the flow of the Tittabawassee River through the newly constructed weir. Watch the video below for drone footage of the work. This is an important next step in preparing for dam restoration.

Four Lakes Special Assessment District has applied for a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for dam safety booms and installation. The meeting will provide information on dam safety booms and their installation. The meeting will be conducted by the Delegated Authority and will provide an opportunity for interested persons to express their views on the proposed plan for safety boom installation. |
