The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Water Resources Division (WRD), will host a public hearing to discuss permitting for Secord and Smallwood lakes.
EGLE Public Hearing Monday, September 26, 2022 6-7 p.m. Crews have been working on a pull-ahead project on Secord Dam that is being conducted prior to receiving a full construction permit.
 Edenville Township and the Wixom Lake Improvement Board recently completed a pilot program to aerially spray evaluation plots on Sanford and Wixom lakes for the purpose of controlling growth of woody trees in the lakebeds.
