April Construction News
4/7/26 March saw the full spectrum of Michigan spring, including sun, snow and lots of rain. Our crews took advantage of the weather to make progress toward meeting milestones, but high water levels are creating challenging conditions and slowing work, particularly at the Smallwood and Secord sites. March Construction News 3/10/26 Our crews had small stretches of favorable weather in February that allowed us to catch up to maintain construction schedules. Despite the cold, crews are moving forward by creating forms and pouring concrete. February Construction News 2/4/2026 The weather over the previous month created challenging working conditions. Extremely cold temperatures and snow slowed concrete pours, but crews continued to work by placing forms and rebar and working on control buildings. Sanford Dam is now considered substantially complete, however Smallwood Dam's estimated substantial completion date has been delayed a month. Click here to read the February Construction News. |
