Friday, November 13th, FLTF and Boyce Hydro reached a settlement in connection with the condemnation litigation. In accordance with the settlement agreement, the counties on behalf of the Four Lakes Special Assessment District, will obtain ownership of the Boyce properties.
Four Lakes Task Force (FLTF) received good news that our pre-application loan for the Four Lakes Special Assessment District (SAD) was accepted and meets the eligibility requirements for a low-interest loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The exposed bottoms of the lakes and rivers in Gladwin and Midland counties continue to be unstable in many areas.
