On January 25, 2024, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) will host an online public hearing to review the permit application for restoration work on Edenville Dam.
In the updated maps of the Four Lakes Special Assessment District you can review your tentative Capital Assessment amount and 2025-2029 Operations & Maintenance Assessment amount. The Capital Assessment is shown as a range because the assessment roll will not be finalized until the January 15, 2024, public hearing. The range represents our best estimate at this time. FLTF is responsible for maintaining the legal lake level. Lake improvement boards and townships are responsible for performing aquatic weed control and managing vegetation. Please read this post on our site for more information including who to contact about vegetation control.
Before the January 15, 2024, public hearing property owners are invited to ask an engineer about their assessment costs. Click the button below to learn more or sign up for a 15-minute one-on-one online meeting with an engineer.
