PSC SURVEY IN MAILBOXES WEEK OF APRIL 11TH

In January 2021, property owners in the Four Lakes Special Assessment District received a survey from Public Sector Consultants (PSC), a Lansing-based policy research firm, that sought to better understand how the August 2020 dam failures impacted them and to gauge property owners' willingness to pay an assessment to rebuild the dams. 

There has been significant progress towards stabilizing and rebuilding the dams, including securing $200 million in state funding to pay for a substantial portion of the rebuilding costs. A new survey is in the mail that is designed to gauge if property owner opinions have changed over the past year.

• Surveys will begin arriving at people's homes the week of April 11, 2022
• Only one member of each household should take the survey
• The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete
• Participation is voluntary
• Responses are confidential
• Property owners are encouraged to complete the survey electronically. A survey link and unique identifier number will be included in the mailed letter
