Bid Category 111-Painting: Edenville Dam Project

The following bid package "Bid Category 111 - Painting" is for the Edenville Dam Project and is now open for public bids.  To request access to the design documents please contact Ryan Corby at 403.818.4409 or [email protected].  
 
Project Information
The Project consists of: 
Partial demolition and removal of existing facilities including concrete, hydro-electric equipment, and other items associated with a 1920 era hydro dam.   
  1. Construction or improvement to two existing spillways including cast in concrete, earthwork, large rip rap and rock, steel sheet piling, dewatering, coffer dams and control of water, new low-level outlet structure, sheet pile back cutting protection, rip rap armoring, new control building, crest gates installation (owner provided), coordination with utility companies, power distribution, controls, instrumentation and SCADA systems, start up and commissioning, and dam safety monitoring and associated mechanical and electrical components.
  2. Construction or improvement to earthen embankment dams including additional new steel sheet piling, concrete training walls, earthwork, aggregate filter, drainage, toe drains and rip rap armoring, and left and right flood walls.
  3. Site work including site clearing, access roads, storm sewer installation, site grading and site restoration.  
  4. Owner will contract with the supplier and furnish crest gates and generator.  The Contractor will be responsible for installation.  Contractor will be responsible to supply all other materials and equipment.   
 
Bid Instructions
All questions need to be submitted to the Project Manager, Ryan Corby at [email protected].  All questions must be submitted in writing no later than April  24, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time). No direct contact with the Owner or Engineer(s) is permitted.
 
Bid proposals shall be received from invited trade contractors via Procore. All other contractors and suppliers shall submit their bids to invited contractors.

Bid proposals will be opened publicly.  Fax and email bids are unacceptable. When submitting your proposal via Procore you MUST attached a scanned copy of the bid form provided by the Construction Manager.
 
The Construction Manager is utilizing Procore’s project management software as the repository for all bid documents, construction documents, and related correspondence for this project. This includes, but is not limited to, notices, drawings, specifications, project manuals, addenda, bid clarifications, etc.  It is each bidder’s responsibility to ensure they retrieve any and all bid documents issued for this project.

​The bid closing date is Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
