FLTF SHARES ANALYSIS OF IFT FINDINGS

Today FLTF posted its formal response to the Independent Forensic Team's (IFT) final report on the failure of the Edenville and Sanford dams. FLTF's overall conclusion is that the report is robust. We are taking the learnings outlined in the report and addressing them in our plans going forward.

WIXOM AND SANFORD LAKE BOTTOM FLOOD DEBRIS REMOVAL BEGINS
5/24/2022
Please be advised that flood debris removal on the Wixom and Sanford lakebottom lands has begun and will continue through the summer. You will see equipment and crews on the bottomlands of both lakes removing uprooted trees, loose stumps, dock parts, boat lifts, hazardous substances like gas cans, watercraft, and other man-made objects within the 100-year floodplain.
